About the role

As a Project Engineer you will be responsible for designing, testing, and commissioning advanced measurement systems that ensure accuracy and reliability. With your experience in offshore survey operations you’ll provide the development team valuable information that helps them develop the optimal solutions for our clients. You will act like a bridge between our development team and our clients and will make sure that the projects are executed conform applicable standards and within time and budget.  Since you’ll become an expert user in our software you’ll be able to provide our customers support and the development team with feedback on the application.

Additionally, you'll assist with project documentation, capturing essential details and processes. You’ll be responsible for the technical execution of projects, ensuring everything meets high standards and operates flawlessly.

Your tasks will be:

• Sales assistance: Based on new inquiries you’ll be the person that, together with the development team, is able to break down an inquiry into necessary work and components that will be the input for the sales department;

• Expert user: You’ll be able to provide our customers with support on how to use our measurement systems and your on the job experience will be used to continuously improve our systems;

• Project assistance. You’ll provide the project manager with technical information and required documentation;

• Commissioning. You’ll assist with commissioning of systems;

• Occasionally you’ll go offshore to help new customers understand how to use our equipment.

What we're looking for

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional for this role, with a strong emphasis on accuracy in handling documentation. Previous experience in surveying or a related field is highly desirable.

As you will be in contact with clients strong communication skills are essential. Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in Dutch is a significant advantage.
