About the role
Our clients want consistent support throughout the year. That’s why we’re searching for someone who is looking for an offshore position and help to represent us offshore.
Among others you’ll be operating our IMS (Installation Measurement System). IMS is a high end, motion compensated installation measurement tool. The system is based on 3D Lidar and used on board the vessels from our customers. With IMS we are supporting precision operations on a large-scale wind energy projects.
The role is focused on equipment operation and data handling; you’re the technical backbone during operations.
What you’ll do
You’ll be the hands-on technical expert offshore, operating the IMS and ensuring data integrity during critical offshore operations. That includes working with high-precision systems such as GNSS, Gyro, MRU and INS.
Your work ensures that structures are placed exactly where they should be, with millimeter- accuracy. You'll be working closely with our engineering team onshore and your offshore colleagues on the vessel.
What we're looking for
You have at least 2 years of experience as a surveyor, with a background in hydrographic or geodetic surveying;
You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Geodesy, Hydrography or similar;
You’re confident and have experience working with GNSS, INS, and related systems;
You want to be offshore 4-6 months per year;
You’re reliable, detail-oriented and proactive.
